Mike is a Certified Professional Photographer, with over 20 years experience in Portrait, Wedding, Model, and Commercial Photography.
He is also a Certified Photographic Instructor, and conducts Photography Seminars as well as Modeling Seminars. Mike began his photographic career as Photographic Assistant with Hess' Custom Portraits, quickly becoming a top Studio Manager before leaving to pursue a position with Olan Mills, Inc. While with Olan Mills for over 4 years, he became one of their highest rated photographers on the East Coast, with his portraits of families and children appearing, and still shown, as studio samples across the U.S., Canada, and England. He became a Certified Photographic Instructor, responsible for the quality and training of photographers for the well-known international company.
Mike then left, accepting the challenge of being a Photographic Trainer for Glamour Shots. Again Mike exceeded expectations, and again received national acclaim and exposure.
In 1996 he formed M&R Photography with Rob Parthemore. Together their clients included WTPA 93.5, The Ronald McDonald House, East Coast Models, DLS Modeling, LA Models (Harrisburg, Pa.), Harrisburg Heat, Harrisburg Senators, Harrisburg International Soccer Team, Bowman Modeling Agency, and Renaissance Model Management, as well as many wedding and family portraits. In December 1998, Mike and Rob parted ways, with Rob moving to Allentown, Pa. with his new wife, Becky, to pursue a Photographic Editor's position with a major newspaper.
Mike then worked with several projects, including MachOne Photography & Promotions, and White Tiger Promotions before establishing Dragon's Eye Photography & Promotions.
